356 progress, slowly but surely

The 1964 Porsche 356C progress continues bit by bit. The engine is complete and running, the bodywork and paint finished (see pictures). We're now deep in the suspension, both front and rear and have recently rebuilt the brakes (discs for that year). The kingpins in front were a bit worn so we had to get new bushings, and the rear just needed a good cleaning and reassembly. New shocks are on all four corners, and the steering play has been removed. Once we get all the mechanical pieces back together, it's time for the interior. Luckily, we have a local interior guy who is working out of our shop and is willing to show us some tricks of the trade (thanks Alex). I hope to have this on the road by the end of the year, wish me luck!
